Services

GlobeNews9 is the public face of a working wire desk. Alongside our own reporting, we offer the services of the 24World Media network to organisations that need credible coverage, professional content and reliable distribution. This page describes what we do, who it is for and what it costs in effort — if not always in money.

News distribution and press release publication

Companies, agencies, institutions and public figures can submit announcements for publication through GlobeNews9 and, where appropriate, across sister publications in the 24World Media network. Suitable material includes company results and appointments, product and research launches, public-interest campaigns, event announcements and official responses to news events.

Every submission is read by an editor. We publish material that is accurate, verifiable and of genuine interest to readers; we may edit for length, clarity, house style and legal safety, and we decline material that is misleading, purely promotional without news value, or impossible to verify. Sponsored and partner content is labelled as such on the page, in line with our Code of Ethics. To start, use the form on the Contact page and choose the advertising/distribution topic, or write to the desk with your draft and supporting documents.

Sponsored content and brand storytelling

For organisations that need more than a release, our producers build sponsored features: interviews, explainers, sector briefings and data-led stories written by journalists to the same factual standard as our news pages, and published with clear sponsorship labelling. Sponsored work is produced separately from the news desk’s reporting on the same sector; buying a feature never buys coverage, a ranking or a verdict.

Advertising

GlobeNews9 carries display advertising in standard formats across desktop and mobile, including large billboard placements on section fronts and standard units in article pages and the homepage. Campaigns are served with frequency and placement controls, and we publish our formats and house rules on the Advertise page. We do not run pop-unders, auto-playing audio, misleading buttons or advertising designed to imitate editorial content.

Content licensing and syndication

Publishers, aggregators and corporate intranets may license GlobeNews9 and network reporting for republication under a written licence. Licensed copy is supplied with original text, cleared imagery where rights allow, and full attribution requirements. Scraping or republishing our work without a licence is a breach of our Terms of Service and will be pursued. Licensing enquiries go through the Contact page.

Research, monitoring and media intelligence

Through the network’s research desk we provide topic monitoring, coverage digests and background briefings for communications teams: what is being reported on a sector, a company or an issue, by whom, and with what evidence. Briefings are factual summaries with sources attached — the same discipline we apply to our own pages — delivered as one-off reports or on a recurring schedule agreed in writing.

How engagements run

  • Enquiry. Send your requirement through the Contact page with the topic that best fits (services, advertising or distribution).
  • Editorial review. We confirm suitability, flag any verification we will need, and agree scope, labelling and timing in writing before work starts.
  • Production and approval. Drafts are shared for factual checking of names, figures and quotations; editorial judgement on style and headline remains ours.
  • Publication and reporting. You receive the live URL(s) and, for campaigns, a straightforward placement report.

Standards that apply to every service

All commercial work is governed by the same documents that govern our journalism: our Code of Ethics, Corrections policy, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and Website Disclaimer, all published on this site. Commercial relationships never purchase news coverage, never suppress a story and never change a fact. If a conflict arises between a client’s preference and the published record, the record wins.

To discuss any of these services, contact the desk via the Contact page. Our publisher’s office is at 1411 N Sterling Ave, Palatine, IL 60067, United States.

Breaking-news alerts and wire feeds

For newsrooms, trading floors and monitoring teams that need the wire itself, the network supplies structured alert feeds: timestamped headlines, story updates and corrections notices delivered in machine-readable form under a written licence. Feeds are graded by urgency and desk, so a client can take world and markets without entertainment, or everything we move. Correction and retraction notices travel on the same feed with the same priority as the original alert — a client who took the story takes the fix.

Editorial production support

Publishers who run lean desks commission production support from us: overnight page production, live-blog staffing for set-piece events, translation and localisation of network copy, and archive research. Work is produced by journalists under our Code of Ethics, delivered to your system in your templates, and labelled internally so your readers’ trust is never borrowed under false pretences: material we produce for republication carries the credit line the licence specifies.

How we price and behave

Engagements are priced in writing against scope — volume, formats, desks covered and service hours — with no hidden placement fees and no pay-for-coverage arrangements of any kind. If a request falls outside what our standards allow, we say so at the enquiry stage rather than after the invoice. Existing clients receive a named editorial contact and an escalation route to the standards function for anything touching accuracy.

Set-piece and event coverage

Elections, budgets, summits, championships and launches are commissioned as set pieces: a staffed live desk, scheduled explainers before the event, rolling coverage during it and a verified wrap afterwards. Event coverage is booked against a running order agreed in advance — who is watching which feed, which primary source settles disputes, and where the correction line sits if an early call proves wrong. Clients receive the coverage in their own systems, credited as the licence specifies, with the same update discipline our own front page gets.
