Ishan Kishan, Jharkhand and India batter, is currently in Zimbabwe preparing for the three-match ODI series which begins on August 18 onwards in Harare. However, before the matches started, Kishan, who hails from Patna, Bihar, made a fan’s day as he met him after knowing that the said fan had come all the way from Patna to meet him.
The Men in Blue have already announced the squad for the tour with KL Rahul leading the Indian team and senior batter Shikhar Dhawan acting as his deputy.
While Kishan was doing his net session at the Harare Sports Club where the Indian team was training, Kishan was seen interacting with Ashish, a fan of him who had come to Harare, Zimbabwe all the way from Patna, Bihar just to meet him.
Ashish claimed that he is Ishan’s big fan and claimed that his house is just 5-10 kilometers away from the left-handed batter’s house in Patna’s Kankarbagh. He had to wait until the Indian team’s training session had finished, which took hours.
However, in the end, Ishan Kishan met with Ashish after his training got over and clicked some selfies as well. A video of the same was shared on social media as well.
The Men in Blue are traveling to Zimbabwe for the first time since 2016 and will back themselves to win comfortably against Regis Chakabva and his men. However, the hosts are coming off a 2-1 ODI and T20I series win over a strong Bangladesh side.
After the India tour of Zimbabwe is done and dusted, the Men in Blue will be facing their arch-rivals Pakistan in the 2022 T20 Asia Cup. The Men in Blue will want to win the Asia Cup and move ahead for the upcoming 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia.
Here is the video of Ishan Kishan meeting the fan:
